Neo Gods
Sometimes mistakenly referred to as New Gods, the Neo Gods were created when Shadow sacrificed himself to fill the void left by the absence of Light and Darke. The Neo Gods were created with the advantage of complete free will allowing them to be good, evil or hold no alliance to either side. Although they can be overpowered by some of the highest powers, the Neo Gods are on a level where they rule supreme over their domain. However since they consider themselves to be far above the other beings in the universe, they rarely interact with the lower races and operate within the higher spheres of existence.
The role originally envisioned by Shadow for the Neo Gods was eventually passed onto the gods operating in the lower dimensions.
